I'm "Jessica" and I learn English. As I work in an international company I often have to write and speak English. I like to play the guitar and to sing.
My two sons and I learn English here with this excellent teacher.

Susanne (40) - Castellano

Soy Susanne, tengo 40 años. Aprendo la lengua española porque viajo a veces a Mallorca. La isla me gusta muchísimo. Quiero hablar con la gente. Las lenguas me interesan como aprendí los idiomas inglés y francés en la escuela. Además tengo que ayudar a mis hijos con los deberes. Busco a personas que quieren escribir cartas conmigo.

Tina (40) - English

My name is Tina and I am a forty-year-old mother of two children. I learned English at school, but only for a few years. I understand the importance of speaking another language as my native language.
After a Scotland holiday my interest grew a lot and now a few holidays later I am really happy that I can talk with other people - and not stand around like a fish. After all my lessons I began to read English books (Harry Potter) and I can understand a lot without using a dictionary.
My children (girls 7 and 17) are more interested in other languages, too. The elder one has now started with her fourth language (German, English, French and Spanish). We watch films in English together.
Next time I will tell you about my hubby. :-)

Rosemarie - Castellano

Aprendo el español desde hace 6 años. Me gusta la lengua porque tengo el temperamento español dentro de mí y porque me encantan los países hispanohablantes. Es muy importante y agradable hablar un idioma extranjero.
Siempre estoy buscando a personas que quieren corresponder conmigo.
La próxima vez voy a contar de mis vacaciones.

Klara (13) - English

My hobbies are hanging out with friends and listening to music. My favourite stars are Gwen Stefani, Nelly Furtado, Johnny Depp, Keira Knightley and more ...

Annika (14) - English and French

My name is Annika and I'm 14 years old. I speak German, English and French. I have a penfriend in Italy and I would like to have more penfriends. My hobby is playing football.
Next time I try to write in French, although I don't like it.

Moritz (18) - English, some French

Hello, my name is Moritz and I'm 18 years old. Playing football and meeting friends are my hobbies. I also like to listen to music, watching movies and going swimming in summer. At the moment I am learning English, because it's my graduation course and there is only one year left until I have to do my A-level. I also use English while being on holiday, for example in France or in Spain. My third language was French, which I learned from grade 7 up to grade 11. This year I had to quit learning it, as there are too many other courses I have to take.
In my next post I plan to write about football.

Patrick (12) - français et anglais

Je suis Patrick, j'ai douze ans. J'apprends le français et l'anglais. Mes hobbies sont jouer au foot, jouer avec l'ordinateur, jouer de la batterie, faire du vélo et tirer à la cible. J'ai un frère, il a dix-sept ans et il fait toujours du scooter. J'ai un lapin et deux tortues.
J'espère que je vais avoir de bons commentaires.

Kristina (13) - English and French

I'm Kristina and I'm thirteen years old. I learn English and French because I'm interested in languages. My hobbies are horseback riding, riding my bike, playing on the computer and meeting my friends. I have a rabbit called "Pünktchen", that means "Dotty" in English because he has dots on his back.

Daniel (16) - English and Spanish

Hi. I am Daniel (16) , I learn English and Spanish. The lessons are easy to understand for me because it is better to learn alone. I take lessons here because I must learn the languages for school and I want to learn Spanish for my job later. I want to go into the retail trade. My hobbies are soccer, volleyball, PC games and my favourite one is snowboarding. I hope we will learn more from this blog about languages which are important for our future.

Why this blog? Pourquoi ce blog? Para qué este blog?

I am a private tutor for foreign languages (English, French, Spanish and Italian) and I'd like to give my students an opportunity to publish their own little works here in this blog. I'm sure it is a good way to motivate them to learn even more than they have to. It might also make them see that learning a language can be fun!
I would appreciate if you could all comment on their posts to show them that someone is actually interested in what they have to say. My students are children from 9 to 18 years old, but also some grown-ups.

Je donne des leçons en anglais, français, espagnol et italien et avec ce blog je voudrais donner à mes étudiants la possibilité de publier leurs propres textes. Je suis sûre que de cette manière ils seront motivés encore plus d'apprendre davantage. J'espère aussi que ça leur montrera que l'on peut en effet s'amuser en apprenant des langues étrangères! Je vous saurai gré de bien vouloir nous envoyer des commentaires afin que mes étudiants s'aperçoivent du fait que leurs petits textes sont intéressants. Il s'agit des enfants de 9 à 18 ans, mais aussi des adultes que j'enseigne.

Soy enseñante de lenguas extranjeras (inglés, francés, español e italiano) y con este blog quiero dar a mis alumnos la oportunidad de publicar sus propios textos. Estoy segura que de esta manera puedo motivarles aún más de estudiar un idioma extranjero y que uno se puede de verdad divertir aprendiéndolo. Por favor, nos envíen muchos comentarios para que mis alumnos se den cuenta de que lo que escriben es interesante. Se trata de niños entre 9 y 18 años, pero también de adultos que enseño.
