The Language Exchange

Welcome to our Language Exchange! This blog is a platform for my students to publish their own texts in the languages I teach them. I think this might be a good way to motivate them to learn languages. Feel free to comment on the posts. And please be nice. (Every student has written an introductory post, usually accompanied by a photo. You can find them in the archives.)

My vacation in Denmark - by Laura

My mother, my sister and I traveled by train to our destination - Keagnes, a very small island not far behind the national border of Germany and Denmark. We lived about two weeks with our Norwegian relatives. The village is called Osterby and is located in a very lonely area between fields and isolated farms. The Baltic Sea with the sandy beach was really nice, but we didn't like to swim in the cold and dirty water.
One day we were together in a little town called Sonderborg. We saw the harbor with a lot of sailing boats and the old downtown. Unfortunately the rest of our vacation was not really interesting. But the days went by very fast.
Ok, that was all about my holidays in Denmark!

Mi país - por Laura

Qué tal?! Soy Laura.

Back in business - by Peter

I'm back. After I passed my exam as a "Industriemeister Metall" I'm learning English now twice a week for work. The company I work for has been taken over by a major Swedish firm. Our business language is English. So I have to learn it. I have learned a lot in the last weeks and I hope in the future it will be the same.
