A year in the USA - by Johanna

This year on August 6th, I am going to start my year in the USA. I am going to Indiana where I'm staying with the same host family my brother did many years ago. There I'm going to school and will experience the American way of life.
Before going to Indiana I am going to visit some big cities like Washington D.C., New York and Philadelphia. I am very excited and look forward to it.
Have you ever been to America? Do you have any tips for me?
